Tour of Payne 2012
This year's Tour of Payne will be held July 7th!
The Tour of Payne is an organized bicycle ride offering 18, 36, and 62 mile routes. It is sponsored by Stillwater's Red Dirt Pedalers Bicycle Club.
This year's ride is being held on a new date, July 7th, 2012. This event celebrates the place "Where Oklahoma Began," close to the start of the 1889 Land Run in North Stillwater.
Tell the hotel you are with the RDP bicycle ride and receive a room rate of $89.
Ride start time is 7:30 a.m.
- All routes are well marked and will be supported until 2:30pm by SAG vehicles.
- Fully stocked rest stops will be provided at appropriate intervals until 2:30pm.
- Rest Stops will be located in or near Ripley, Cushing, and Mehan.
- Showers will be available after the ride at the Wyndham Gardens (formerly Stillwater Plaza Hotel). Please bring your own soap and towel.
The entry fee is $30.00 and includes a t-shirt for the first 100 that pre-register by June 30, 2012.
Registration on the day of the event will be $30, no t-shirts will be available at the event.
Ride Headquarters
Headquarters is at the Wyndham Gardens (formerly Stillwater Plaza Hotel), Perkins Road & McElroy. Packet pick-up and information is available at the Stillwater Plaza Hotel the evening before the tour from 6 to 8 pm.
