Proposed Amendments to the Constitution and
Bylaws of the Stillwater Parks and Recreation Bicycle Association

Amendment I
|
- The name of the Stillwater Parks and Recreation Bicycle Association
shall now be known as the Red Dirt Pedalers. Red Dirt Pedalers
and RDP are the same entity. Any references to RDP means Red Dirt
Pedalers.
- Red Dirt Pedalers is an affiliated club of the Stillwater Parks
and Recreation Department.
- Red Dirt Pedalers is an United States Cycling Federation Club
(#1955). RDP and anyone racing for RDP is under the rules and
regulations of the USCF.

Amendment II
|
- An Executive Committee, that consists of no less than six and
no more then eight members, shall be formed during club elections.
A. The members will be the elected officers and four at-large
members.
B. The at-large members will be elected from the general
membership excluding associate members.
C. If the positions of Secretary and Treasurer are held by
on person, then the President can appoint a fifth at-large
member to the Executive Committee.
i. The appointee must be approved by the current board
members.
- The Executive Committee will meet before the regular club meeting
at a date and time set by the President.
- The Executive committee will be responsible for the following:
A. In the absence of a quorum make decisions for RDP.
B. Create and appoint members to subcommittees.
C. Attend or appoint members to attend USCF meetings at the state
and national levels.
D. Appropriate and disburse the following:
1. Dues
2. Reimbursement
3. All other goods and services allotted to club members.

Amendment III
|
- Eliminate Article II part one section c. which state "To
assist as a part of the Parks and Recreation Department of the
City of Stillwater in the selection, maintenance, and supervision
of the track for bicycling for sport."
- Article II part one of the bylaws, change $5.00 to $15.00 and
eliminate "by June".
- Eliminate Article IV part five of the bylaws, which states "The
Track Operator shall be directly responsible for the on going
concerns of running the bicycle mx races on a weekly basis and
shall answer to the Officers".
- Eliminate Article VI part two which states "Association
funds normally will not be used to underwrite food and drinks
at social events."
- Eliminate Article IX of the bylaws which states " 1. American
Bicycle Association sanctioned events shall take precedence over
other uses of the Association track area.".

Amendment IV
|
- All persons who are members of Red Dirt Pedalers must sign a
release form.
- Anyone who joins Red Dirt Pedalers must sign a release form
before they can become a member.
- Anyone who is not a member of Red Dirt Pedalers but goes on
a club sponsored event or ride must sign a release from before
they can participate.
